A really good day

Today has been a really really good day. Here's what a good day looks like:

I went shopping.

I picked up some Blue Sky Alpacas suri merino at Purl, then some Sublime merino silk dk from The Point.

Now, what to do with it? Some possibilities, courtesy of the new Phildar (arrived today):

pretty and sweet

a little more edgy but still classy

If Phildar and Twinkle had a baby, here's what she'd look like. total awesomeness. too edgy? or, am I just too short for this? I'm not sure if I care. I love this. I'm such a sucker for bobbles.

Do you have a subscription or do you buy them individually?

BTW I love your blog, I've been lurking for some time now... :)

Damn, that does look like a really good day- delicious, scrumptious yarn, and some very chic patterns.....

Those sweaters are all great, especially the middle one, but then I love all things Phildar.
The last one seems to be just your style - you can pull off all those bobbles!

I like the second two sweaters..but that's because I love seeing people knit the stuff I wouldn't have the guts to knit, myself! :)

I love the silver antlers!! Where did you find them?

I want to make the second one!

i think the bobbley dress is great! don't worry if you're short. as long as you don't have big hips like me, boo hoo (i wish i could wear my twinkle groovy sweater dress)!

i love that brick wall, by the way. is that your new place?

Ooh...I vote for the bobble thing. They're fun to make and they're so cute on that dress!

i love that bobble tunic, but the middle one is pretty awesome too. why not make both??

my vote goes to the bobble tunic. it is by far my fav from this issue of phildar. if i were going to knit it, i'd probably shorten the length so it was more tunicy and less like a dress. I might make the sleeves a little longer too, so they sit about an inch above my elbow.

so there's my imput!
