going on a road trip

Bobby and I are renting a car tomorrow and doing a weeklong driving tour of some nearby Atlantic states. I'm so excited to drive a car again, even if it's a dorky rental car. We'll be staying in Rockport, Boston, Provincetown, and Newport, and checking everything out in between (please please send lys tips). Our last night will be spent on Fire Island at my sister's summer rental. Looks pretty great, right?

My neck is all better, btw. Thanks again for all the tips and well wishes. I'm now tracking down some fancy pillows, carrying a lighter handbag, wearing heels less days a week, and keeping the window shut while I sleep. I never want to get a stiff neck again!

Windsor Button, downtown crossing in Boston - about a block off the Red Line Park St stop.... a cool LYS. Have a fun trip - the coast is gorgeous right now!! Don't forget to stop for a lobster roll or fried clams & beer. Woodmans in Essex or the Clam Box in Ipswich - mmmmm. Also Seed Stitch in Salem is an awesome yarn store - don't know if you'll be going that far...

Hope you get lots of knitting done! And I sympathize about the neck pain--one of the most annoying aches you can have.

I hope you had a good time on your road trip with Bobby! Man, seeing a lot of people going on a road trip makes me more and more excited, since the last time my friends and I went out was 15 months ago, and that was a pretty long time! And since I have saved a lot of cash, due to me cutting some of the cash every payday, I think it will be enough on my part, due to the fact that we chipped in for the travel costs and other things in advance this time, since last time, I was the one who loans out due to an emergency.
