I'm calling her Sunny Delight. It's a project that I have been quietly working on for the last eleven days. Better photos to come, so long as the weekend weather matches my outfit.
Now that she's done, I can get back to knitting the front of the Vogue dress. I'm also looking ahead for my next knit, and I'm not sure what it'll be. I'm curious about this book:
Runway Knits, by Berta Karapetyan. I've only seen pictures of the patterns on blogs, so look here or here to see some of them. They look interesting, but maybe a little too conservative for me. Here's my favorite, so far:
I wonder what it looks like when the model isn't gripping it together? Droopy? Floppy? Droopy and floppy in a cute way? Not sure.

ohhh, what is it?? the sunny delite...i must know! those bobbles look adorable whatever it is. and can't wait to see the VK dress either.
What is it about yellow? It is so fresh and inviting. Definately the colour du jour! I feel the same way about that Runway book too. I met the author in her shop in NY (School Products), if she designed for her shape, you probably won't like the generous shaping...
love the yellow! & cannot wait to see the dress, either...
mmmm.. sunny delight looks yummy! is it your own pattern? can't wait to see the finished product!
yellow seems to be all the rage these days, and i love it! such an underrated color. can't wait to see more pics of sunny delight this weekend.
and can't wait for that dress, either!
Hmm...the model's pose is very suspicious...
My yellow sweater is moving kinda slow, I can't wait to see your Sunny Delight!! I love picot right now.
If the model has to hold it together to make it look good, then you will, too. This can be a bit cumbersome if your life involves doing anything other than posing for pictures with a pouty look on your face. You could incorporate some sort of fastening, of course. But I'm much more interested in Sunny Delight--I can't get excited about winter sweaters when it's 80 degrees outside (I live in Southern California, so that's about half the time). I can't wait to see Sunny!
I'm psyched to see the sunny delite! And that sweater? Obviously in need a shawl pin of sorts. I bet you could rock it though!
Sunny delight looks gorgeous.. can't wait to see it!
i've been looking for this book but now that i've seen some patterns from it...yeah, i think i can stop looking. too bad!
That sweater from Runway Knits that you like is VERY similar to a free pattern from Peony Knits... It's just her circular shrug, with sleeves added on. It's even the same colour! Check out the pattern pdf and see if you agree.....

And I'll say what everyone else is saying- your little yellow dress is amazing!!
